I really liked this - it had a very nostalgic feeling to it, which I think was partly the historical nature of the book, but also partly because it reminded me of books I used to love when I was younger. I loved the twists and turns of the story (especially the end) and the characters were really great - it's so different to read a book about people in their 50s and 60s, which isn't an age group that main characters normally seem to represent.
