[Edit: the more I sit with this one, the less I like it.]

Minimal Spice. Multiple perspectives so that you have the whole story. Multiverse correlation. Wrapping up conflict with room for new stories to bloom.

This book did a great job of giving you lots of storyline in a way that was more fluid than HOSAB.
Multiple POVs were utilized to provide insight into what was going on in multiple parts of the world/conflict and I feel like this was more effective in this book than others.
It also helped with some of the info dumping that occured at certain points. While i feel these dumps were necessary, I feel like reading it all in one long sitting would have felt overwhelming and made getting the info less enjoyable.

Bryce and Hunt had conflict this book that felt realistic to what a “normal” couple would have if put in the same situations. While some of Bryce's choices made me go ‘why would you do that’ I do realize that this helps make her feel more real.

I loved seeing the development of the rest of the “pack”. Tharion, Ithan, Ruhn, Hypaxia, Flynn, Dec, Lidia, the sprites, Jesiba, the Princes of Hel, and others all played their parts. Whether easy choices or hard, good or bad. It was great to see their development.

I doubted how this book would wrap up as at one point I didn't feel like there was enough book left to have a proper conclusion. Some things did wrap up faster than I expected which led to a bit of disappointment.

I look forward to seeing how this book wraps into future ones and how our team figures out their places in Midgard moving forward.
