Wolf Girl by Leia Stone
4.0
Having previously enjoyed a couple of Leia Stone's books, I was decided to try this series based of a recommendation.
It's been a while since I indulged in a shifter story, and this is something I really enjoy listening too.

As a YA novel, the spice level is understandably low, which fits the tone of the story. While there are a few cringe-worthy moments, I suspect that’s due to the YA target audience.
I am usually listening to more adult books with dark, heavy spice!

The book was fast-paced and packed with excitement, holding my interest throughout. I’m eagerly anticipating diving into the rest of the series to see how the story unfolds.
However, I did find the ending frustratingly leaving me with mixed feelings. (this ends on a cliff hanger)
That said, it sparked enough intrigue for me to speculate on the direction future books might take, which adds to the anticipation.

While not without its flaws, it was an enjoyable escape, and I'm looking forward to continuing the series.
