All consuming. This book was about all consuming love and greed and jealousy and hunger.
Similarly to The Wolf and the Woodsman, I was convinced the book was going to end tragically. I suppose it did, in a way. I’m really relieved it wasn’t a sad ending, but another part of me wonders if it should’ve been sad… but I’m gonna say no because I emotionally wouldn’t have been able to handle that
