I loved the horror and apocalyptic narrative of this book it was so interesting and engaging and having trans women as the focal characters of this dystopian disaster novel was truly enlightening. My only qualm was that there was a lot, like a lot, of graphic sex scenes which were bit too frequent for my taste. And these sex scenes felt like they were fan fiction in a way in their descriptions, they were pretty graphic, often and hid from nothing. Which is great in the sense of trans sex representation but I did think bloody hell there’s a lot of fucking going on. Otherwise would’ve been 4 stars
