Appointment with Death by Agatha Christie

4.0

Another one of Christie's brilliant plots surrounding a very curious family with an overbaring, sadist head figure.

Everyone dislikes Mrs. Boynton - even Poirot himself - and no one is really shocken nor sad, when she dies. However, things get heated up when Poirot and his colleagues discover that the woman must have been murdered.

Thus, a very interesting, sometimes confusing and very complex "hunt" for the murderer starts and people may not be who or what they pretend to be in the first place.
