This book was fun and also so honest. I liked that the depiction of working in/around sports wasn’t overly glamorized, but highlighted the flaws and downsides as well as showing why so many people love it anyway, Annie especially. I loved how connected she was to the sport, the team, and her colleagues, even when she tried to pretend she wasn’t.
