Mostly smut with a hard to follow plot line. Definitely preferred the first book in the series as that had a much better pace and storyline. This felt lacking in many areas, likely could’ve been condensed. I skimmed over the last 150 pages vs DNF’ing just to see how it would end because it no longer felt enticing to read. The main characters “romance” was forced but at the same time, not at all believable and often felt one sided. Also, there was so much of the color pink mentioned it was overwhelming and sometimes jarring.
