dpd 's review for:
Filthy Rich Boys
by C.M. Stunich
I'm not, a huge fan of 'Young Adult', but I am a fan of C.M. Stunich, so I decided to give this series a go. I was intrigued as soon as I read the blurb.
Once I started reading, I was sucked in to the story. The pain and humiliation of bullying is captured in this book. Nothing is left out. It's not just physical, but psychological bullying, too. It's all there. No sugar coating, just pure torture.
I can tell you now, I cannot wait to see how this series develops. C.M. Stunich has laid down the foundations of a brilliant series, and I cannot wait to see where her mind takes us. How can she make us like the unlikeable? How can 'The Idols' redeem themselves? I can't wait to see how this all shakes out.
