andershanson 's review for:
The Collini Case
by Ferdinand von Schirach
This bestselling and highly regarded crime novel finds a newly trained lawyer being confronted with a high profile case that sees his friendships and his professional training challenged. An enjoyable read that leads to an unlikely conclusion in the book and led to changes to German law in real life. However, I felt the way that the lead character stumbled on the motive for the crime felt just a bit too neat and unlikely.
