Thank you Tandem Collective for letting me be a part of this read along.

Oh wow i loved book 1 (Curse of Saints) but book 2 was brilliant, what a ending to leave us on! We pick up exactly where we left off with Aya & Will returning home and it being known she is the 2nd saint who will help her defeat Kakos.

All the characters have their own struggles to content with, Aya being given the role of Saint she needs to focus on that which means she needs to step away from her role as part of the Tria. Will having to hid his relationship with Aya and do what it takes to get into the Queens good graces. Tova not understanding what's happened or going to happen after what she went through while in the dungeons. Adion learning to be a king and hid his power, Josie haven't to move on  when who she thought was the love of her life betrayed her and her family.

We also have new characters and I really liked Liam but not Lena his twin.

This has the exactly what i enjoy in my fantasy, uncomplicated world building and magic system, political intrigue, romance, twists and turns and battles.

Book 3 cant come soon enough!
