There was the potential for greatness here, but after I caught up on the flashback it just seemed startlingly mediocre. I might have stuck it out for the sex scenes, but as always, there are just too many other good books out there to be wasting time forcing myself to read something I know isn't for me. If I was going to get into it, it would have happened already, so on to the next.
