How lovely to be back with Ellie again. I absolutely loved the Gorls in Love series when I was younger, I read it so many times my copy was falling apart, so to see how Ellie, Magda and Nadine have grown up was the stuff of dreams.
We meet them all at age 40 and Ellie now has a grown up daughter and a career in illustration to keep her busy.
But life never runs smoothly and even with a new love interest and new friends, Ellie finds things all going a bit wrong.
Shes such a loveable and relatable character that I felt myself screaming at the book for Ellie to realise what was so obvious to me but not to her, so frustrating but just shows how invested I was!
I really hope there’s a sequel to this book, I don’t want to say goodbye to Ellie again!
