Review 2! I enjoyed reading this book, and it did help me get through a reading slump somehow, but I guess it couldn't quite match up with how much I enjoy the play? I enjoyed the fact that it worked as a prequel to 'Much Ado About Nothing' rather than a modern rehashing, but because I wasn't aware of that until the end, I spent a lot of the book anticipating events that would never happen, which was a little frustrating! I really liked the lead characters though, although I won't lie, the main character, Bea, was a little irritating but you sort of grow to love her throughout so didn't really bother me by the end.
I really need to get back into the swing of things with these reviews, this was a shit one (the review, not the book) but gotta start somewhere. The book gets 3.5 stars
