It’s taken me a while to write this review. When you have a similar experience to the loss of a loved one, the reminder hits you like a freight train. This book was not at all what I expected, but still a very unique and well written story of two teenagers, each coping in their own way and finding solace in one another.
This book made me an emotional wreck, not to say I wasn’t one before, but coming out of a depressed state is hard to do. How Tijan managed to work in a romance was beyond my head and I had so many emotions rushing in and out with each and every word.
Keep your box of tissues handy!
