Just read Women of Trachis from this collection, and I'm saving the rest for later. Wow. I thought I had a handle on my Greek tragedy, but this was amazing. A cool, crisp translation, focus on female characters, and ASTOUNDINGLY tragic tragedy. Plus death scenes that would give Stephen King a run for his money. Turn your clock back and take this one for a spin.
