We Should All Be Feminists
by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
11th book of the year. Bought this book along with my copy of The New Jim Crow & Between the World and Me because Amazon suggested it as a good third.
This is a great, short little book by Adichie that was based on a TED talk. It's a light take on feminism, but brings up some great points. I did enjoy the book, but had a little challenge with Adichie's style. Quick read, but I wouldn't say the style flowed.
BUT, I gave it 4 stars because I think it's a worthy read. The perspective is not aggressive and militant, but rather, just sensible. And I felt it was certainly convincing.
Read it. Great option to check out from your library. I would imagine the audio book is great.
