I wasn't expecting a lot from this book but I wanted something with adventure and difficult puzzles, this had some adventure though there were only a few puzzle solving moments. There was more teenage romance angst anything else, though I was expecting that. The plot was way predictable and more than once the thought of "this is why teenagers wouldn't be trusted to do these kinds of things" crossed my mind more than once. It was ok, but towards the end I found myself skimming more than I thought I would.
