heathcliffapologist 's review for:
My Policeman
by Bethan Roberts
I began this as a, “Hey, I love Harry Styles.” And then, “Hey, this opening page is gripping” and ended with, “Hey, oh, this thing? Yeah, it’s my heart— oh sure, break it! Feel free! I don’t care!”. The effortless change in narration and distinct voices, the ability to love and loathe all three of them, watching them like children and desperately wanting to guide them away from their poor decisions. Brighton, oh, someone buy me a bloody house there. The most interesting book. Love, love, love — an instant favourite!
