This book is what got me hooked onto the amazing series that is the black dagger brotherhood. The story starts of with a death of one of the brotherhood members, a secret vampire society that is placed to save their race from extinction from the lesser society.
J.R. Ward writes amazingly and you get the view from not only the vampires but also the lesser society.
This book is about Wrath the leader of the brotherhood and Beth human transitioning into her vampire life. The story is amazing and gives you as base idea on the way the series will run
