"Anything else I should know? Any other insulting colors you'd like to show me?"
I grin, "You're going to hate the bedroom."

I was weak at this line!

I really should not be reading this hotness while at work, but I did.
Oh Miles, my tormented scarred baby boy. I really thought I wouldn't love him like I do Chase and Liam, but let me tell you. I love my Miles Savage. A protective soul, I'd love every inch on him. But his heart belongs to a vibrant, daydreaming babe who turns his grey covered walls into a colorful life.

Stella is a beautiful soul who takes pride in staying strong when Miles' father makes a proposition that is tempting. But she's not truly willing to lose her soul.

What I loved is the beauty and beast vibe, even to the point of the mysterious "cellar" which holds a side of Miles that Stella doesn't know if she's ready but quicker opens to the world she's shown. The angst of this book leads to feel that the final "BAM" scene happens later in the book. Was this a "slow-burn" sorta but leading into a "medium-paced". What we see though is an unlikely couple learning about each other and breaking down the barriers.

now... the spice was spicin' and the romance was there. The commanding presence of Miles and the mouth on this man. I feel that gives a good example of the misconception of the specific "smink", but highlights that when explored properly, it's respectable. We all love what we love as long as everyone agrees and safe. I love that Stella while was shocked was not judgmental and wanted to understand and I feel that's when Miles completely was letting go, when he felt he didn't have to hide or worry what his "wife" thought about it.

What you'll find:
- Arranged marriage/marriage of convenience
- explored "liking seeing other people"
- "that's my wife"
- He's got a secret or a few
- Beauty and the beast vibes!
