I felt like a lot of the tropes were unnecessary. Age gap, fine. I didn’t think it was necessary that she was 17 for half of it and I didn’t think it was necessary that they were “family”. I know they weren’t related by blood, but for me I wanted her to talk about that more so I could have been more invested in the relationships. I didn’t want her to end up with any of them because I didn’t feel a connection with any of them. Especially not Kaleb. The fact that he’s who she fell in love with seemed like it came out of left field. I felt no spark or connection between them whatsoever so it was a let down. The only relationship I semi liked was her and Noah but even that fell short.
Graphic: Adult/minor relationship, Incest, Rape, Sexual content, Sexual violence
Moderate: Death of parent
Minor: Child abuse, Blood
