I have no words. First of all, I just want to get my one gripe with this book out of the way; the spice was right on the fence for me. I purposefully grazed over the second scene, but the first...umm...people find this stuff hot apparently? But my disgust at spice is just a me thing, and it has nothing to do with the quality of the book (AKA the book would've had the same rating for me with or without the spice). I really liked the plot of this one and how it was very character-focused like the first book (Which if you read my review of Blood & Honey, I said that it was one of the best parts of the first that was somewhat lacking in the second). And also, I think I'm a sucker for Reid and Lou (I'm sorry, I can't get over Lou absolutely shaming him XD) Highly recommend this series for any long romantasy lover (and yes, this book was LONG. Ik its only 600 pages, but it felt like two book in one, but not in a bad way
