This was good! I liked the premise, woman needs a job and lies on her resume to get it, meets a cute co-worker and the lies continue as their relationship deepens. At a certain point the lies felt more and more outlandish and it was exasperating to see Danuwoa essentially beg for honesty and Ember refuse to give it to him. I understand why she didn’t but at the same time they were in a relationship! Communication is key!
Gary and Kyle were both easy to hate villains,
and seeing Kyle get his comeuppance was so satisfying.

I did love the growth that Ember had in the book, and was cheering for her at the end. Overall a cute romance!
