Reread:
This is my third time reading this I believe and I still love it every time I reread it, I have always loved the movie and it will always be a comfort movie for me. I don’t remember whether I have ever finished the series all the way through despite being only five books long but I definitely plan to do so.
Either way I loved this book just as much on the reread of it and intend to continue with the rest of the series, I love the fantastical element to it, the illustrations scattered throughout it are gorgeous and the writing style has a whimsical feel while still being easy to read.
----------
I loved the film of this and read this book in under half an hour as I was on a long car ride
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series
