Washington's Spies: The Story of America's First Spy Ring
by Alexander Rose
This could have been an interesting book. The subject matter is potentially fascinating. Rose knows his stuff and he presents a lot of research and information. Yet, the book was a slog. The beginning was hard to get through and the middle improved things some. However overall it just seemed tedious to get through it. I know there’s a series based on this book. Maybe that will be more interesting because this? Suffered a lot from the author giving too much information and dryly as well.
