This book is set in a psychiatric ward (Ward D) across just 12 hours. The night starts off quite normal, but as the hours pass things become not quite right and end in full blown chaos. The FMC was somewhat unreliable, which added to the narrative / story.
A fast paced read, with short chapters making it an easy read. Enjoyed the flashbacks & whilst the ending wasn’t a huge surprise, it was so fast paced that I just couldn’t put the book down.
This is the 5th book I’ve read by Freida McFadden & I am looking forward to continuing her backlist.
