such a cool interesting book concept, really blurs the lines between imagination and creativity,feels like an apt comparison between truly talented ppl who come from limited resources vs those from wealthy backgrounds trying to tap into a depth they just don’t have. Felt really realistic of imposter syndrome, wanting to fit in, the love between friends/ community built around you. Really enjoyed the lite horror aspect, as it was gross and devastating and culto and weird while still being cutesy



now I wonder if Jonah is a darling or not. But I’m thinking maybe no since she didn’t immediately recognize something kindred in him like she did Ava and Max. The twist reveal of Ava was really fun to see unfurl
