Black Woods, Blue Sky by Eowyn Ivey
5.0
I loved this novel (well, I’ve loved all three of Ivey’s books). Although I’ve never been to Alaska, I can tell she gets it all right. (Not surprising since she is from Alaska.) It’s hard to recap/review this story without giving away spoilers. I’ll just say the characters all felt real, and I really enjoyed living in this world for nine days. There were some surprises toward the end that worked, and Ivey really stuck the landing. Beautiful writing.
