When I read this, I remember liking it! The characters were cute and fun. The D&D campaigns were interesting to read! However, the drama in thos story I felt was a little bit unnecessary.
There was a scene where the main character felt like she needed to "slap some sense" into another character. So, she killed off a character that someone created for their little campaign, the dude who created the character cried and ran off, like pretty much every drama.
I just feel like this issue could have been resolved in a much more civiled and mature way, but then again, this is a common trope in slice-of-life, so who am I kidding.
Would I recommend it? Yeah. The book overall was entertaining and fun. If you enjoy RPG's and D&D with just a hint of LGBTQ+ rep, then by all means, read it!
