IBM and the Holocaust by Edwin Black

3.0

At the end of the day the book is correct, IBM made the machines that empowered Nazi Germany's tracking of it's citizens and structured their German company so they would get the company back after the war.
Some of the conclusions that Black jumps to are a stretch however. I don't think punchcard powered computers were quite used to track as much as Black entails (every bullet?) however inspite those bombastic assertions the books is stunning and horrifying work of research.
It is especially chilling that the quotes of economy and the 'otherness' of the jews could be ripped from today's headlines.
