Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

5.0

I’m always scared of books that at hyped as much as this one but this lived up to the hype. The language is poetic without being flowery. The plot is well paced and just twisty enough to be interesting without being confusing. And the character development draws you into the story in such an amazing way. Read in a single day which is unusual for me these days, but it was worth clearing out any distractions or other activity.
