This was an enjoyable little book. I find Wiking’s writing interesting and often funny. I think focusing on what makes us happy is important. I appreciated how in this book Wiking was able to bring in more elements and stories from around the world since he wasn’t focusing on hygge, a quintessentially Danish topic. Yes, Danes are happy, but they don’t have a monopoly on it. We can all take a closer look at what makes us happy and take steps toward achieving it in our own lives and communities.
