3.5

3.5 stars rounded up. My first Hannah Bonam-Young book didn’t disappoint! Her writing is really descriptive and visual, and has related lovely and a nice representation of characters. HBY does a nice job of dealing with sensitive topics within a romance book.

Warren and Chloe were fire and ice and it was a fantastic build up. I am a sucker for a “oh my god, they were roommates,” trope. It didn’t quite get a full four stars from me because of how fast they went from not dating to being end game. I have to say, I did enjoy the epilogue WAY more than most epilogues with time jumps. I’m excited to read Next to You next to see more of Matt and Lane. This series is PERFECT for fans of the Bergman brothers/sisters series by Chloe Liese.
