Really enjoyed this follow up to The Five People You Meet in Heaven, which I loved when it was published several years ago. The story follows a fairly predictable plot line comparable to Five People, but with a twist. Annie’s had a tough life since her accident at Ruby Pier but just when things are finally looking up, a tragedy strikes. Annie is entirely likable and it’s easy to empathize with her. You want things to work out for her. And, fair warning, there is a dog and you will cry. Be sure to read Five People first if you decide to give this one a go.
