Mothers Who Can't Love: A Healing Guide for Daughters by Susan Forward

5.0

This book was... A bit earth shattering. It's so nice for a book to make sure I feel heard, respected, and valued and that my needs are thought of by someone out in this world. I highly recommend this book for anyone that struggles with their relationship with their mother... So. So. Good. And insightful. And loving. And honest. It provides real tools and resources to move through whatever your next stage of developing a relationship with an unhealthy mother, whatever that looks like. It was also so nice just to have a book say it's okay I don't want to or can't have a relationship with my mother... So refreshing. So profound.
