Sarah Wynn-Williams is an excellent story teller. I’d honestly read anything she writes, but this story in particular is especially relevant. It shows the greed and man-childness that exists at the top of tech companies. Successful people only succeed because of competent (and often greedy and unethical) people supporting them. Sarah goes over international expansion of tech companies, the consequences of the algorithm on politics AND on mental health of minors, as well as her experiences with sexual harassment in the workplace. I’m also fascinated by her perspective as an immigrant and the impacts this has on her job prospects. Overall, a very well written and relevant read.
