I understand the bad reviews. There is a lotttt of back and forth and it can be very frustrating. However, I still think it’s good. It’s a young adult book - the back and forth is expected.
You get to see different sides of each character. There’s a lot of moments where you are screaming in excitement and then in a few pages you’re ready to flip out.
This book is truly the “in between” for The Selection and The One. If this book has you ready to give up... keep going. Once you read the third book it will all come together.
Overall it was an easy and enjoyable read. I’d recommend the series to anyone.
