I really enjoyed this book and the feminist theme. The characters have strong personalities and really contributed to the progress of the story.
One character I didn't like was Tia Fermina. I don't care if she had reasons. Most of the time she was just a bitter old lady who was kind of hypocrite for someone who claims to be a "devout" christian.
All in all, the story was bittersweet and had a good ending.
