This book deeply disturbed but resonated with me in many ways. The colorful descriptions of life, value, violence, and choice, were worded in such a starkly beautiful way. As a vegetarian and someone who has struggled with mental illness, this book means a lot to me. The human body and its connection to the Earth and sky, from dirt and to dirt, was wonderfully illustrated.
