3.5 stars. On the one hand, I can appreciate the personal growth of the characters. On the other, it's all so coincidental and perfect. I'm glad for the decisions Phoebe makes over the week, and I am rooting for her success in her new phase. Sadly, the book feels a bit stuck in time with so much Covid lockdown stuff, and I think it'll be even worse for future readers in the years to come as society views about that period continue to shift.
I'm counting this as Popsugar Reading Challenge Prompt #26 - A book where an adult character changes careers. Changing from a professor to a writer isn't a wild change, but it is for the protagonist in a profound way.
