I combed my way through this book slowly, savoring every bit. The essays were full of surprise, always leaving me unsure if I'd end the essay giggling with a smirk on my face or if I'd end it solemnly after rereading the ending 5 times (sometimes somehow both). I deeply resonated with and appreciated Daniel's ability to deftly articulate how his experiences of Christianity and transness are enmeshed in the other. An excellent, excellent read that I'll undoubtedly return to often.
