In many ways this was sweet, gorgeous even.
Both MCs are sweethearts and I fell in love with their love.
One of the first things that got my attention was the dialogue, they were quite ordinary, but I don't mean it in a negative way, quite the opposite, sorta authentic, especially the first 2/3, and I caught myself with a dumb smile in my face in many occasions when they were chatting up. COMMUNICATION IS SO SEXY! And these two are pros at it.
Mind you, I became pre-diabetic for a moment with all the sappiness lmao. I came to the conclusion that if you added some archaic English this would make a good historical romance haha
One last thing, this has almost zero drama and what we have is a stretch, I honestly think the book would be even better without this blip in the story, it was cool to see their reaction as a couple in a so called "conflict", but I'd be very okay without that.
Anyway, I finished this one with a big smile on my face and a heart very warmed.
