Rewind by Catherine Ryan Howard

Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast forward

Rewind is a fast paced and enjoyable mystery/thriller; a proper beach read.
It jumps back and forth in time and the story is told from multiple points of view.

It begins with the brutal murder of the Instagram influencer (whatever that means) Natalie O'Connor inside a holiday cabin. The murder is caught on tape and we soon realize that the killer is well aware of the existence of the hidden camera.
Then we go back and forth in time, before and after the murder as the story unravels.

Why is there a hidden camera in the cabin bedroom? How did the killer know about it? Why would someone want to kill Natalie? And more importantly what was Natalie doing in the middle of nowhere in the first place?

The story was predictable and the revelation wasn’t a surprise for me. The timeline was confusing. Instead of rewind and forward it could have easily said 2 days ago or a week later.
