Murder at the Mendel by Gail Bowen
3.0
characters: Joanne Kilbourn and her family; Clea; Sally, Stuart Lachlan and Taylor Love Lachlan; Nina Love; Izaak Levin; Hilda McCourt
The second in the series not quite as much fun since it is set in Saskatoon and I don't know that city as well. And I am beginning a small inkling that there may be a lot of similarity in these books. Nevertheless, it was a page-turner and I really liked the feminist/art subplot in this one. And the addition of a new child to the mix bodes interesting for future books.
Although I also wonder ... is Joanne Kilbourn the Jessica Fletcher of Saskatchewan? Everybody she knows dies.
