So I wasn't sure how I felt about this for a lot of reading it. I loved the story but kept putting it down and it was confusing me. I think one of the issues is that it is very first person, and I know that sounds weird but there is so many "I" moments that it felt repetitive and like someone's thought process. I struggled a bit with the writing style in that way.
However, it is a very quiet, gentle, beautiful love story. It's predictable and easy and happy but the characters have depth and I just found a lot of it very relatable in a way that romance often isn't.
