When I tell you I was in pain while reading this... believe me.
It's very much a "it is what it is" kind of book. Dead dove, do not eat.
So for those that know what they are looking for and seek out this book: you'll probably enjoy it. Have fun.
A few of the main cons for me, however, are the following:
-eeeeeeewwwwwwww, I hate, hate, hate whenever the 5 year old child is in (or even near) the main character's sexual fantasies as she orgasms. Just... no. Please, God. It's one thing to see a man being a good dad and think "aww, and he's a good dad too? Wow, he really is the complete package! *hearteyes*" and another completely to think "he's tucking in his 5 year old son?! SPLOOCH! I just came in my panties and so would you! He's telling his son that he loves him! That means another orgasm for me!" There's... a difference.
-Lucy is annoying as heck. I get it. I get that she is the way that she is because of #reasons, but the charm of her wears off after a while and becomes quite frustrating.
-Ok, this book is not for me, and that's fine. But I did read it so I need to say this: How are people finding Adam Connor sexy?? He keeps grabbing her wrists, telling her what to do, makes desicions for her and treats her like his property at times. If that's your thing: no shame here, but personally: ew.
-a nitpick: I know it's erotic fiction, but saying that your man needs to come 3 times "each session or else something is missing" is just... what? Is Adam ok? Has Ella Maise had sex? Does she know about the refractory period?
-just to bring it back in the end: eeeeeewwwww, please stop with the "having a 5 year old in the middle of the erotica"! Literally, near the end Lucy talks about having sex with Adam and moaning into his palm as to not wake up the "perfect little person down the hall... waking up with his penis pressing into me - Adam's penis, if you didn't figure that out - I love that kind of sex." o_o She actually has to clarify that she's not talking about the 5 year old's penis pushing into her because of how this is worded. I die.
