Thank you to Del Rey, Random House Worlds, Inklore and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy of this book.

This was such a fun book that had me entertained the entire time! A vampire hunter Rebecca has to go undercover as Cassie to a university for vampires that’s opening its doors to humans — and Cassie ends up being roommates with you guessed it, a beautiful vampire she finds hard to resist (Aliz)! Cassie’s mission is to find this book, the book of blood and roses, that is said to be the key to eliminating vampires, and once she does she’ll finally be one step closer to avenging her parents who were killed by vampires. However her mission goes ary when she gets attacked by vampires and ends up entangled in a blood bond with Aliz that makes it hard for them to resist each other. They then have to work together to break the curse in time or be permanently bound.

This had good mystery, secret societies, great side characters, and yearning!!! I had a great time reading this and loved how badass Cassie was! The development between Aliz and Cassie was also interesting to see play out and I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book!
