the steamy scenes are well written and it was interesting seeing the female main character being a bit nuanced.
that being said, i hated the drama and the whole “punk” thing. it made me cringe a lot, and that’s why it took me so long to finish.
i wish there weren’t that many supporting characters like layla’s friend, Ten and J.D because there was not enough time to explore them and it felt like their presence was only there to move the plot, not for us to care (and i can’t for the life of me distinguish those last two apart). i get why they existed but i wish they didn’t.
i think i wasn’t the target audience for this book, but i can see it being a very popular book on wattpad or even being adapted to the big screen. i just didn’t like it
