Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life by Ryan Nicodemus, Joshua Fields Millburn

4.0

Great Read!

I just started diving into the world of Minimalism a month ago and stumbled upon the Minimalists site. After reading a few of their online posts I was excited to find they had written books! Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life is full of tips to help anyone get started on their journey. What I love most about this read is how they constantly remind you that minimalism has a different flavor for everyone. It's not just about eliminating the excess in your life but how to live mindfully.

Through their five dimension model, Josh and Ryan provide a several examples and even have points of reader interaction. By asking a set of questions deeply tapping into the things that inhibit us, we are able to see our passions and missions in life more clearly. The Minimalists have proven once again that your happiness and goals in life are not centered around tangible consumer items. By living deeply fostering good personal health practices, communication, compassion, mindfulness, and altruism you too can have a successful and meaningful life.
